Welcome Message

The Leeds and Grenville Fire Service is comprised of the fire departments located in the United Counties of Leeds And Grenville gathered together in a Mutual Aid system covering a geographical area of approximately 1308 square miles in the beautiful Ottawa valley and includes some of the most scenic views of the 1000 Islands on the St Lawrence River.

Strategically located communications towers throughout the county provide the basis of delivering immediate administrative and logistic support services to approximately 23 fire stations, 700 fire fighters and approximately 150 emergency vehicles including marine transport.

About 99 percent of all fire stations in the county now possess the powerful Hydraulic Extrication Equipment  (Jaws of Life) and response times to motor vehicle accidents and other emergency incidents requiring this equipment is swift indeed.

We are proud of our professional capability to serve the citizens of Leeds and Grenville.  We are here to serve and protect and we trust that this site will provide insight to what fire fighters do.

This site is under continuous review and we hope that you will bookmark us and return often.  An attempt is being made to enhance and improve on interactivity.  Please pick a fire service selection that you are interested in.
