President, Jim Grant called the meeting to order at 19:30 hours. 9 departments were represented, with 43 current members in attendance and 4 honorary members. Chief Purcell acting as secretary.

1.0 Introduction

Chief Purcell welcomed everyone and introduced guests. Councilor Kirk Jones welcomed everyone to the meeting.

2.0 Guest Speaker

Chief Purcell introduced George Atkinson from the Canadian Red Cross. George spoke about the change over for the after hours calls for the Social Services in the county and showed a video. If needed, he can be contacted by dispatch or on his pager # 613-341-0004.

3.0 Adoption of Minutes

The minutes of the Nov.21, 2006 meeting were read by Chief Purcell.

9.1 Chief Purcell asked if we should be looking at an increase for our Levy request to the Counties. Chief Donovan mentioned we shouldn't have too large of a bank account unless we have a project to spend it on. Moved by Tim Tedford, Elizabethtown/Kitley, seconded by DC Dwyre that the amount of the budget be left to the discretion of the Executive and the Coordinator. Carried.

9.2 Ed Dempster, Gananoque, advised if anyone would like their medals done, bring them to the next meeting

10.0 Announcements

10.1 George Slater, Augusta, announced the 50th Anniversary of the Augusta Fire Department in conjunction with the EOFA Field Day June 15th and 16th in Maitland.
10.2 DC Dwyre advised OFM has a protocol for funerals etc. on their website.
10.3 Chief Purcell thanked the honourary members and the suppliers for coming.
